In 2019 I joined the San Francisco based startup People.ai. I worked with MacPaw (the creators of CleanMyMac) as an independent contractor, providing management consulting services to their Platform team and to the companies leadership.

In 2009 I moved to California to join Facebook (back then a 500 people company) as a software engineer. I helped build the Facebook infrastructure, in particular systems and services for infrastructure monitoring and alerting (internal code-name: ODS).

Volunteering #

MaydanSF #

In 2013 when Ukrainians protested against the pro-russian course of back then president Yanukovych (protests known us EuroMaydan, later became the Revolution of Dignity), a group of Ukrainian activists in San Francisco Bay Area decided to organize an informal movement called MaydanSF (Maydan San Francisco). MaydanSF was holding rallies and collecting funds to support protesters in Ukraine; later supporting the families of Heavenly Hundred (protesters killed by the law enforcement).

Nova Ukraine #

After the Revolution of Dignity, when russia started it’s proxy war against Ukraine, part of the original MaydanSF team decided to form an official non-profit organization. Nova Ukraine was created and I became one of the founders and a board member. Since 2015 I have been serving as a Co-chairman of the Board.

In 2022 Nova Ukraine became one of the first diaspora organizations to respond to the humanitarian crisis caused by the full scale attack of russia on Ukraine. Nova Ukraine has raised over $90,000,000 in monetary and in-kind donations to help Ukrainians.
